Edwin Jeans tapped Adriano Goldschmied as its creative head. In his new role, Goldschmied will oversee design for the label’s North American relaunch. Known as the “godfather of denim,” Goldschmied brings more than 30 years of industry experience and is the founder of the AG Adriano Goldschmied label. Edwin Jeans’ first limited capsule collection will be available to U.S. consumers for Holiday ’17.
DSM Dyneema appointed Olivier Janin as its new VP of marketing and sales, effective Sept. 1. Janin joins DSM Dyneema from Saudi Arabia Basic Industries Corp., where he served as the executive director of chemical sales in Europe. Before joining SABIC, Janin held leadership roles at GE Plastics and Imperial Chemical Industries plc.
After more than five years at the helm and efforts to turn the business around, New Look CEO Anders Kristiansen has been shown the door. The executive had been leading an expansion effort at New Look, but product was really the problem and sales have been falling for more than a year. A new leader has not yet been named but Brait, which operates New Look, has started a search.
Karl-Johan Bogefors was named as Filippa K’s new brand director, effective starting in September. In his new role, Bogefors will expand the label’s international footprint and foster new business initiatives. Bogefors joined Filippa K in 1996 and from 2001 to 2007, served as the label’s PR and marketing director. His resume also includes previous stints at Absolut.com, COS, JC and Malene Birger.
Andrew Stanleick, Coach Europe’s CEO, was tapped by Coty to be the new VP of its European beauty division. Stanleick joined Coach in 2013, where he served as the chief executive and president of the company’s South East Asia and Pacific division before moving to his current role in 2016. Prior to his tenure at Coach, Stanleick was an executive at L’Oreal for 12 years.
Bridal label JLM Couture tapped Allison Webb as the head designer for her own bridal collection, Allison Webb, which is set to launch this fall. Webb is also the head designer of the Ti Adora by Allison Webb line. Webb’s resume includes previous stints at Ann Inc., J.Crew and Tory Burch.
Luxury e-tailer Stylebop appointed Ronald Burton as its new fashion director. Burton previously served as the senior fashion and market editor at New York-based website, Document Journal.

Forty Five Ten president Brian Bolke is stepping down from his role to pursue other career opportunities. Bolke founded the Dallas, Texas-based luxury boutique in 2000, which was sold to Texas billionaire Tim Headington in 2014.
Versace is allegedly appointing Virgil Abloh as its next creative director. Abloh, who is known for his edgy sportswear look, is said to be signing a deal with the house. In the past, Abloh revealed that he would like to helm Versace’s design. The house has not released official comment on this move yet.
Tailored Brands appointed Sue Gove to its board of directors. Gove, who will serve as a member of the company’s audit committee, possesses more than 30 years of retail experience. Over the past three years, Gove has provided boards with advisory services, including acting as an interim CEO in turnaround situations. From 2012 to 2014, Gove served as the CEO and president of Golfsmith International, where she led the company’s market expansion in Canada and the U.S. Her resume also includes previous stints at other businesses, including a 25-year stint at Zale Corporation.
